We took the ship from Porto Scuso to the island San Pietro. After 25 minutes we the beautiful little city "Carloforte"

The source of Sardinia’s Carignano wine is the Gulf of Palmas, but wine isn’t the only attribute of the area. The Gulf of Palmas is a secret Sardinia treasure, where the southern coast offers splendid hikes and the Rio Palmas flows right into the sea. This scenic wonder is so charming that you’ll find it very difficult to just pass by.
Our tour leaves Trattalias and San Giovanni Suergiu, and continues from Portoscuso by ferry. We will arrive at Carloforte city on San Pietro Island within half an hour, and you’ll get to enjoy the intimate nature of this romantic town. The Wednesday market offers fresh produce and the streets are filled with many options for avid shoppers.
San Pietro Island lies in is quite famous for its red tuna fishing. Here, this delicacy is sold at affordable prices, and offered by shop owners who love to share their local recipes.
After spending some time in Carloforte, we will walk west towards Capo Sandalo. The stroll itself is breathtaking, with views of the deep blue sea along the rough and magnificent cliffs. On our way, we can also see the sandstone pillars and natural amphitheater of La Conca, as well as the surrounding views of Porto Flavia and Pan di Zucchero.
We will head back to Carloforte after our walk, then return to Calasetta by ferry once again.
The tour doesn’t end there, as we leave the northern section of Sant’Antioco peninsula and take you to the South coast . As we head back to your hotel or Cagliari cruiser, you can take a second look at the truly magnificent evening view of the sea as the evening light embraces it.
