Description
We drive through the valleys of the “Iglesiente” passing nearby the “Castello di acqua fredda”. Stop by the Queen ?? Reaching the ferry boat at “Porto Scuso”, we take the 25min ferry journey to reach the Island of San Pietro.
Free time for shopping in the wonderfully charming streets of Carloforte. There is enough time for a lunch to taste tuna specialties. The Island is famous for souvenirs, corals as well as culinary highlights tuna bacon, caviar and excellent white wine
On the way back to the mainland we take the ferry boat to Calasetta on the Island of Sant’Antioco where we stop at the salt flats to photograph the flamingos.
